On their tenth wedding anniversary, Vivian receives divorce papers from her husband, Vincent, who then lashes out with cruel words that shatter her. She has no idea that Vincent is hiding a terminal cancer diagnosis and only ninety days to live. Unwilling to let her watch him die, he chooses to end their marriage and undergo facial reconstruction so he can re-enter her life as someone she has never met. As Vincent works to fulfill a promise only he remembers, Vivian slowly begins to trust and love again. But the deception at the heart of their reunion carries its own cost, and the secret he guards threatens to surface. What begins as a borrowed face becomes a race against time, forcing them toward a goodbye that neither is prepared to face.
