Seven years after being separated from Elena by his family, Julian believes the woman he loved and their child are gone. In reality, Elena survived a car accident but cannot remember her past, while she has raised Mia alone. Now Mia uses a small keepsake to search for the father she has never known, hoping to help her mother. Julian repeatedly misreads her attempts, leaving the child vulnerable to people determined to interfere. As clues begin to connect the strangers, buried family truths bring Julian and Mia closer to the same story. A DNA test forces him to confront what he lost and raises urgent questions about Elena’s fate. With regret driving him forward, Julian must protect Mia, uncover who kept them apart, and find a way to reach Elena before their broken family slips further from him.
