Claire’s crush on her sexy boss Simon turns painfully awkward when she accidentally throws a coffee pot at him during her shift as a waitress. His polished appearance and intimidating presence already leave her flustered, and the workplace mishap makes her wonder what consequences await her. But Claire’s problems extend far beyond an embarrassing accident: she is beginning to uncover a power she cannot control. Simon is a dangerous vampire who offers to help Claire master her emerging magic, while Michael, her kind and loyal best friend, conceals his own connection to the supernatural world as a hunter opposed to Simon. Pulled between two men with opposing loyalties, Claire must face hidden identities, growing attraction, and secrets that could place all three in conflict.
