In ancient Aetheran, dragonborn royalty governs seven kingdoms while a centuries-old curse steadily threatens the ruling bloodlines. Purebloods do not live beyond one hundred, and heirs have become increasingly scarce. Elena, a princess of a fallen noble house, enters a sacred ritual to trade her bloodline for help for her dying mother. Crown Prince Drake encounters her there but misjudges her motives. Driven by desperation, he joins with her through an ancient rite whose consequences neither can easily control. Months later, Elena learns she is carrying quadruplets, with four dragon flames burning within her. Their arrival may offer a path to restoring Drake’s bloodline and ending the curse. But Drake’s power-hungry nephew stands in the way, creating a threat to the four flames. As Elena and Drake face sabotage, hidden truths about identity, and the demands of royalty, they must confront what the ritual has set in motion.
