Fay Thompson’s faith in Daniel Lippert collapses when she finds him with a waiter after believing he respected her and was ready to take their relationship further. Hurt by the betrayal, Fay must face the end of their romance and decide what she wants next. Her situation changes when she meets Daniel’s father, Kent Lippert, a Mafia King who reveals a hidden connection to Fay’s family and offers a marriage arrangement involving Daniel. The proposed union promises protection, but it also draws Fay into criminal power, family expectations, and carefully guarded truths. While the relationship serves a purpose, Fay becomes increasingly attracted to Kent, creating a dangerous emotional conflict between her history with Daniel and feelings she cannot easily dismiss.
