Five years earlier, Scarlett, a waitress, intervenes when Brandon is in danger, then shares one unforgettable night with him before disappearing. Brandon does not know she became pregnant and had his daughter. When Scarlett returns, she looks different after slimming down, leaving him unable to recognize the woman connected to his past. Meanwhile, Brandon's older brother Reggie Larson is convinced he is about to take over as Larco's CEO. His cruelty reaches a breaking point when he pushes Brandon into the swimming pool. Scarlett jumps to Brandon's rescue, bringing the pair back into each other's orbit. Their unresolved night, hidden parentage and Scarlett's changed appearance bring past and present into collision as Brandon's position at Larco comes under threat.
