Juliet appears to have chosen a quiet life as Jack’s wife, but her composed image conceals a powerful inheritance. She is the long-lost heiress of the Blackstone mafia, a past she abandoned in exchange for marriage and normalcy. When Jack exposes his ambition to create a criminal empire and turns against her, Juliet’s carefully built life collapses. After Simon, her father’s trusted confidant, helps her survive, Juliet stages her death and adopts the name Lila. No longer willing to play the obedient wife, she sets out to undermine Jack’s plans while protecting her family’s declining legacy. As hidden truths surface and her connection with Simon deepens, Juliet confronts the woman she buried along with her former life. Her intelligence, resolve, and dangerous heritage may be the tools she needs to reclaim control.
