Liam Holland and Annie Jones begin as a young couple, but their relationship is upended when Liam intervenes to protect Annie from an attempted assault. Yet when he sees that she is no longer wearing her engagement ring, painful questions arise about whether she has already chosen to leave him. Six years later, their lives appear far apart.
