Brynna is preparing for her wedding when Sterling arrives with Celina and turns the celebration into a public attack. They destroy the wedding designs she created and humiliate her elderly mother, who dies from a heart attack. With her career and only remaining family gone, Brynna leaves the country. Five years later, she returns to the fashion world with her daughter, Mia, and Kane, introduced as her contract husband. At a major exhibition, Sterling claims Mia is his child, while he and Celina assault Brynna and attempt to take the girl. Kane intervenes, exposes his powerful financial standing, and publicly identifies Brynna as his legal wife and Mia as his biological daughter. Sterling loses his exhibition privileges, but the confrontation opens a larger battle. As Brynna faces the people who destroyed her past, the future of her five-year marriage remains uncertain.
