At Waverly University, Abby Williams is a disciplined figure skater determined to win the Black Swan lead in the Winter Showcase. Her polished technique is not enough: she needs to discover the darker, more rebellious side of the role. To prepare, she turns to Tristan Beaumont, the hockey captain whose playboy reputation contrasts sharply with her careful life. Their lessons draw Abby toward Tristan, but the choice is complicated by Taylor Beaumont, her skating partner and best friend, and Tristan’s younger brother. As campus rumors, sabotage, and jealousy threaten Abby’s place in the showcase, she must weigh loyalty against an attraction she cannot easily dismiss. The pressure also forces her to question the rules and expectations shaping her identity, while the Beaumont brothers become central to both her romantic uncertainty and her path toward self-discovery.
