Ruby takes a short-term nanny position for quick money, expecting a brief assignment rather than a place in a powerful household. Instead, she enters Ethan Cole’s tightly controlled home, where the billionaire CEO is raising twins who have already driven away sixteen nannies. Ethan, a single father, applies the same strict discipline to family life that he uses in business, leaving little space for warmth or spontaneity. During a one-week trial, Ruby’s unconventional approach begins to reach the children and exposes the limits of Ethan’s parenting methods. Meanwhile, conflicts involving custody, inheritance, and corporate leadership threaten to divide the household further. As misunderstandings and concealed truths complicate their arrangement, Ruby becomes central to the family’s changing dynamic, while Ethan must confront whether control can heal the damage within his home.
