Raine, a powerful mob boss burdened by a blood curse, takes Leah captive, hoping her unusual nature can help end his suffering. What begins as a desperate bargain becomes complicated when his feelings for her grow, placing his need for a cure against the bond forming between them. Leah is not simply a prisoner: her resilience and healing gift make her central to Raine’s dangerous plan. After Leah disappears into the sea, the story moves forward seven years. She returns with their child, reopening the connection neither of them has escaped. Their reunion brings old emotions, unanswered questions, and a hidden plot into the open as they confront the forces surrounding Raine’s curse. With werewolf lore, noble bloodlines, pregnancy, and a gifted child shaping the drama, their struggle becomes a test of trust, family, and fate.
