Tana is the last surviving fire dragon, concealing her identity inside a cage where defeat can mean death. Trapped beside her is Cedric, a wolf king she secretly heals night after night. Neither knows that they are fated mates, but their situation changes when Cedric marks Tana and discovers she is not a wolf. He then leaves her, unaware of the consequences she will face alone. Tana is left pregnant and later raises Cedric’s daughter in the city, keeping their connection out of his reach. Meanwhile, Cedric searches across the mountains for the mate he abandoned. Tana must protect her child while living with the danger of her hidden nature and the pain of Cedric’s rejection. Their story centers on secrets, separation, and whether the lost bond between them can be confronted.
