When she returns home to announce her succession, she discovers her mother, once cherished, being abused and labeled a homewrecker by Blair's three older brothers. Her father has replaced his wife with the family maid, who now claims the title of Mrs. Beaumont. Blair is determined to uncover what happened during her absence and clear her mother's name. She must confront her brothers' hostility and her father's betrayal, using her intelligence and resources to expose the truth. But with the household aligned against her, can she restore her mother's honor and claim her rightful place?
