Cole's life as Supreme Sorcerer ends in a magical war, but death is not his final chapter. His soul awakens inside Leo, a young boy burdened by a Death Curse and running out of time. The cure is the Starlight Potion, yet it is held by the Westwood family, whose pride puts the desperate mother and child at their mercy. Clara, an ordinary woman with no powers, pleads with the Westwoods for help and is met with ridicule. She remains determined, even while concealing that she too bears the Death Curse. When Leo can no longer endure her humiliation, extraordinary force erupts from him, shaking the mansion and subduing the sorcerers inside. To save her son, Clara faces a devastating choice over the only potion.
